Senior Farmer’s Market Vouchers will be available at the Hollister Farmers Market on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, the Seniors Council/Area Agency on Aging will be doing the annual one-time distribution of Senior Farmer’s Market Vouchers starting at 3 p.m. at the Hollister Farmer’s Market on San Benito Street between Fourth and Seventh streets.
Seniors who qualify receive one booklet of coupons worth $20 to buy fresh produce at certified farmers markets. Seniors must be age 60 or older and have a monthly income of $1,872 or less for one person or $2,538 for a couple. It is a self-certification process, with no proof of income required.
