You might have to look twice while passing one downtown Hollister storefront.
The San Benito County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a special Halloween contest this year (featuring scarecrows) among its many interactive efforts with local businesses.
The latest contest features scarecrows designed by six local businesses on display in the storefront at 620 San Benito St. They’re also included in a photo disseminated by the chamber that includes the name of each business attached to the scarecrow it designed.
To take part, residents can check out the scarecrows and then vote on Facebook, by emailing admin@sanbenitocountychamber or calling the chamber office at (831) 637-5315.
