The San Benito High School ASB (Associated Student Body) formally thanked the Veterans of Foreign Wars at the VFW’s Thursday meeting for all of their assistance with the SBHS carnival.
The money that is raised from this fundraiser is used to help students go to the CASC leadership camp. Due to construction, the carnival could not be held on campus this year.
“They were so amazing in helping us coordinate everything to make sure that we were able to have it at Vet’s Park,” said SBHS Activities Director Catalina Lemos. “Maria Spandri was instrumental in coordinating the efforts along with our superintendent, Dr. Shawn Tennenbaum.”
