San Benito High School Dance C students “did a great job in their performances at the West Coast Elite Dance Competition this past weekend,” according to Dance teacher Heather Nichols.
Here are the results:
– 1st Place Open/Prop/Novelty Category: Jesus Chavez,
Leticia Corrales, Carolina Fraire, Michelle Rosado, Anahi Sanchez, and
Evelyn Melendez
– 1st Place Small Hip Hop Group Category: Kristen

“All students represented San Benito with pride and executed their performances with class,” Nichols said. “As some may know, we typically go to the Ohlone College Theatre Festival. This year Ohlone had to cancel this event due to financial limitations, so I found another opportunity for dancers spanning different genres/ strengths. We really enjoyed participating in this national competition and were surrounded by top notch talent.”
