Please note the following:
- Students will only attend one rally: Main campus homerooms will attend the rally on Aug. 16 and the 300’s/400’s homerooms will attend the Aug. 17 rally
- Zero Period will start on the first day of school, Aug. 16
- Our first Early Release Thursday will be Aug. 23
First Two Weeks of School — Aug. 20-31
During the first two weeks of school (Aug. 20 – 31), students will attend their “Homeroom” on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. The purpose of this format is to allow all students and staff time to transition into to the new bell schedule.
During these two weeks, students will be provided with important information about how their Monday homeroom and the Academic Focus Time on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays will function for the rest of the school year.
Beginning the week of Sept. 4, students will begin attending their Academic Focus Time on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. More detailed information will be provided to all students within these first two weeks of school.
Note that the New Bell Schedule below left applies to the first two days of school (Thursday, Aug. 16 and Friday, Aug. 17)
Beginning in the upcoming 2018-19 school year, San Benito High School’s bell schedule will include a 35-minute homeroom/academic focus period four days per week. Zero Period will remain Tuesday through Friday, with a slight adjustment in the number of minutes. Early release days will continue to take place on Thursdays (except the first day of school).
