San Benito High School Principal Adrian Ramirez recently previewed for the Board of Trustees the Spring 2018 Advanced Placement (AP) results, which showed that 576 students took one or more AP exams (a total of 1,162 exams). Of those 576 students, 376 students passed one or more exam, which is a 65 percent student pass rate. Of the total exams taken, 634 exams were passed, which is a 55 percent exam pass rate. Each student who passed an AP exam will receive a letter of recognition from the school. A comprehensive AP Data Report will be available later this semester. The district invests more than $20,000 annually in offering AP test cost assistance to students.
