All parents and students are invited to San Benito High School’s annual Back to School Night on Wednesday, Aug. 29, starting at 5:30 p.m. with a brief welcome in the Mattson Gym. All families will receive a copy of their student’s class schedule, and will follow a bell schedule included on the school map (see below). Teachers will have 10 minutes to provide a brief presentation on their course expectations, how to communicate with them, what a typical day looks like in class and showcasing something specific. The first presentation (Zero Period) will begin at 6 p.m. Those families whose students do not have a Zero Period will have an extra 20 minutes to find their student’s Block 1 class, which will be the next rotation.
Class Presentation Schedule:
6:00- 6:10 Zero Period
6:20 -6:30 Block 1
6:40- 6:50 Block 2
7:00- 7:10 Block 3
7:20- 7:30 Block 4
7:40 – 7:50 Block 5
8:00 – 8:10 Block 6
The school will ring a bell, signaling families to go to their student’s next block. There will be a 10-minute passing period between each class. A bell will then ring signaling the beginning and end of each subsequent class presentation. The evening will conclude at 8:10 p.m.
