Congratulations to recently graduated San Benito High School student Kasandra Correa, who was named one of the 250 recipients of the Jon H. Poteat Scholarship from the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS). Kasandra received a $1,000 scholarship, based on her ability to consistently exemplify the seven character attributes of NTHS – Skill, Honesty, Service, Responsibility, Scholarship, Citizenship, and Leadership. Kasandra was inducted into NTHS based on her outstanding performance in her Career and Technical Education classes. She plans on attending Hartnell Community College to study nursing.
