San Benito High School students, faculty and staff collected 2,023 items during the recently-completed Canned Food Drive. That is the most amount of donated food contributed in recent history, surpassing the 1,964 collected in 2017. All food will be donated to the Community FoodBank of San Benito County. Mr. Vu’s Leadership class students collected and counted the items for the annual drive, which is coordinated by Student Activities Director Catalina Lemos and the Associated Student Body.
