San Juan Bautista will hold a special meeting Tuesday to consider several COVID-19 items, including whether to establish an emergency fund to help local businesses.
That emergency fund would also go toward purchasing personal protective equipment and contributing to the county’s emergency response fund, according to the agenda for the 6 p.m. meeting that will be streamed for the public.
The agenda includes a general COVID-19 update, an update on the fiscal impact from the pandemic, and consideration of public safety issues in light of last week’s drive-by shooting in town.
There were no details immediately available about the funding prospects.
Public participation will be on the Zoom app only, and the public cannot attend in person.
