San Juan Bautista council members and a citizens advisory panel will interview finalists for the city manager job Friday morning.
The advisory committee is comprised of residents appointed by council members. The meeting starts at 8 a.m. Friday at San Juan Bautista City Hall and is a closed-session gathering.
The council in late April narrowed resumes to five finalists who will interview Friday morning.
Those candidates are vying to succeed former City Manager Michaele LaForge, who resigned in March after about 10 months in the role to take a private-sector job.
Ed Tewes is San Juan’s interim city manager and is overseeing the recruitment for a permanent leader.
