The San Benito County arrested a local suspect on suspicion of holding a converted assault rifle and drugs, according to a social media post Friday.
The sheriff’s office made the following announcement through Facebook on Friday afternoon:
While many of us were sleeping-off our holiday indulgence, your San Benito County Sheriff’s Deputies were serving an early morning search warrant on Hillcrest Rd.
Sean Daudet , age 34, was arrested after a weeks-long investigation. He was found to be in possession of “converted weapons,” along with an AR-15 assault rifle, and illegal narcotics.
We appreciate all your well-wishes on thanksgiving and are working hard to keep you safe this holiday season.
