San Benito County reported no new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in its latest update Saturday.
The county has 55 confirmed cases including 50 recovered patients, three active cases and two deaths, according to the figures released at 4:35 p.m. today.
The county’s numbers in general have dropped in the past few weeks. Day to day, the county has mostly reported zero or one new confirmed cases. There have been 11 cases reported since April 17.
San Benito County has been selected, however, as a priority testing community. Just this past week, the county started large-scale testing at the Veterans Memorial Building. The tests are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday to Thursday by appointment.
