San Benito County now has 30 confirmed cases of COVID-19, according to numbers provided by the county.
That amounts to seven more cases than the 23 reported Friday, when the most recent figures were released.
The county’s statistics include the 30 cases, while 15 of those patients have recovered. San Benito County has two deaths, with 13 cases still active.
In San Benito County, 18 of the 30 cases – or 60 percent – are under age 50. Eleven were caused by person-to-person transmission, with another 11 caused by community transmission, according to San Benito County Public Health Services. There have been 369 people tested so far in the county.
In California, there were 13,438 cases and 319 deaths as of Monday mid-day.
