San Benito County added two more confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the total to 23.
The county released its latest figures Wednesday. Of the 23 cases, 10 people have recovered and one has died, according to the county. That means there are 12 active, confirmed cases of the disease caused by the coronavirus.
Residents can expect the numbers to continually increase, but local leaders have emphasized that sheltering in place and practicing appropriate social distancing will help to alleviate the spike in local cases.
