The County of San Benito and San Benito High School are proud to announce that River Parkway will soon be open to the public following a ribbon cutting ceremony.
River Parkway is a road that was designed to provide access to the County’s long-awaited Regional Park. This road also includes a Class I detached bike lane along the full length of the road.
Additionally, this road will ensure high school students and staff are safe during school hours by allowing the re-direction of traffic off of Nash Road around the High School. Once River Parkway is open, Nash Road will be closed from 7:00 am and 7:00 pm on weekdays between San Benito St. and West Street.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at the intersection of Nash Road and River Parkway at 10:00am on Friday, October 5. The road will officially open to public later that day. For additional information contact Dulce Alonso at 831-636-4000 ext. 18 or via email at [email protected]
