Assemblyman Robert Rivas has opened a satellite office in San Benito County that will be open every Wednesday.
To kickoff the new office, Rivas will also host a special open house from 5-6:30 p.m. tonight at the location, 2301 Technology Parkway in the county building that houses the sheriff’s office.
The new office is in the back of the building, but staff will be on hand directing visitors to tonight’s event, said Amy McElroy, senior field officer for Rivas.
McElroy will also oversee the weekly office hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays. Meetings are by appointment, and can be set up by calling (831) 759-8676.
