The Hollister Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a sexual assault suspect.
According to a statement from the HPD:
In late 2017, a victim checked themselves in to Hazel Hawkins Hospital and reported that they were sexually assaulted in downtown Hollister on an unknown date at an unknown time. Hollister Police detectives were assigned the case and have been working through City of Hollister surveillance camera footage from downtown of a period of several months. Detectives were able to isolate the date and time of the incident as October 27, 2017 at about 4:00 am. Detectives were able to isolate pertinent footage from the event.
The photographs above have been confirmed as the suspect in the case. The suspect was described as being a Caucasian male, approximately 38 years old, and may be from Texas. The suspect was wearing a Golden State Warrior’s jersey and a “boonie” style military hat with a short crew-cut style haircut.
The Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the subject pictured above.
