Pinnacles National Park announced details on its spring ranger programs so people know what’s offered on their visits.
According to Pinnacles’ website, ranger programs offered in February include the following:
Sundays
Ranger on the Trail
10 a.m.-noon, Balconies Trail and Bear Gulch Cave Trail
Pinnacles website: “Join a ranger for an interactive drop-in program about the natural or cultural resources of the park.”
Nature Hike
At 10:30 a.m., meet in the Bear Gulch Day Use Area
Pinnacles website: “From birds to insects to wildflowers, Pinnacles is rich with biodiversity. Learn about one aspect of that diversity on this ranger-led hike. Bring your binoculars if you have them! 1-1.5 hours”
Prewett Point Hike
At 2 p.m., meet at the West Visitor Contact Station.
Pinnacles website: “Learn about the unique geology of Pinnacles on this easy wheelchair-accessible hike. 1-1.5 hours”
Condor Talk
At 2 p.m., meet in the Bear Gulch Day Use Area.
Pinnacles website: “Discover the majesty of these enormous, endangered birds and learn about their incredible comeback. 30 minutes.”
Wednesdays
Night Hike
7 p.m.: Location will be provided upon registration.

Fridays
Evening Program
