Pinnacles National Park announced on social media that a condor egg hatched there. It happened over Easter weekend at the national park in San Benito County. According to an announcement made on Facebook, as of March 29, the determined chick had managed to peck a hole about the size of a quarter through the egg. This chick will be the second offspring of the parents, male condor 340 and female condor 236. In 2016, they raised a nestling in the same cliff cavity.
