Hosted by the San Benito County Arts Council and San Benito County Office of Education, the World Around Me artist showcase was Thursday at the Veterans Memorial Building. Students were encouraged to enter paintings, drawings, sculpture, mixed-media and literary art pieces. The event included awards for art pieces and an array of performances by youth groups.
