Pet Friends and Rescue is teaming up with NBC and TELEMUNDO to host the station’s fifth annual Clear The Shelters pet adoption drive on Saturday, August 17.
On this day, Pet Friends will offer low cost $40 pet adoption fees for “Approved Adopters” to help local families adopt a pet. Nationally, more than 250,000 pets have been adopted through the NBC/Telemundo stations’ Clear The Shelters campaign.
Pet Friends and Rescue, non-profit rescue has been serving homeless and abandoned pets in need for over 25 years in San Benito County. Our volunteer team and small dedicated staff work hard everyday to help match our rescue pets who live onsite with us at our no-kill shelter find their forever family. Our tireless work is challenging yet so rewarding when our rescue pets can be lovingly rehomed forever. The “Clear the Shelters” pet adoption drive helps us reach out to our surrounding community with awareness of the importance of Pet Rescue.
