On July 3, Congressman Jimmy Panetta (CA-20) will give the keynote address during an Independence Day-themed naturalization ceremony at Hartnell College. About 100 people from Monterey, San Benito, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz Counties will take the oath of citizenship during this ceremony.
The ceremony is set for 10:30 a.m. and will last about an hour. It will be held at Hartnell College in Building C, Room 124, of Steinbeck Hall at 411 Central Ave., Salinas.
