Congressman Jimmy Panetta, who represents San Benito County, announced he is now accepting applications for summer interns in his Salinas and Santa Cruz offices.
Panetta posted the following Wednesday about the internship opportunities:
Internship opportunities are available for high school and college students. Responsibilities include assisting staff with constituent outreach, casework, and office management.
As a part of their responsibilities, interns will be asked to help with answering phones, writing letters, assisting constituents, and legislative research. It is a great opportunity to volunteer and provide service to the people of the 20th Congressional District.
