Nazario Martinez, Sr. passed away in Hollister after a short illness at home. He was born Nov. 21, 1941 in Laredo, Mexico. He retired from the City of Hollister where he worked for 30 years. He loved to play golf and to see the Cowboys win or lose. He was an active member of Sunnyslope Christian Center. He is survived by his wife, Florence, sons Naz Martinez Jr and Jose M. Martinez. Seven grandsons, 3 great grandsons and 1 great granddaughter. He is also survived by his sister, Beatrice Campos from Sullivan, TX. He is preceded in death by his father, Jose M. Martinez, his mother, Sarah Martinez, grandson, Jacob Nathaniel Martinez and brother, Jose Oscar Martinez.
The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support and encouragement during this time.

Services will be on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Sunnyslope Christian Center.
