John F. House passed away at his Hollister home at the age of 87. He was born om Broken Arrow, OK and lived in Hollister for 25 years. He served in the US Army, was a member of the Catholic Church, liked baking, peanut brittle, horseracing, had a great love of his country and is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy.
He is survived by his children, Peggy Maltman (Kurt) of Hollister, Penny House of Hollister, Celeste Bjornson (Tor) of Gilroy and James House (Michelle) of Boston, MA, his sisters, Nellie Philbrick of Hayward and Judy Bernardino of Greenville, CA and his grandchildren, Ymer Bjornson, Teresa Bjornson, Theodore Bjornson and Riley House.
Friends can pay their respects after 7:30 AM on Wednesday, April17, 2019 at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. The Mass will be at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church in Gilroy with interment following at St. Mary’s Cemetery. To send flowers to the family of John F.
