Anselmo B. Delgado passed away on Sunday, February 24 in Hollister, CA at the age of 97. Anselmo was born in Matehuala, S.L.P., Mexico on April 21, 1921. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife María de la Luz Delgado and daughter Guadalupe Delgado. Anselmo is survived by his daughters Maria Curiel, Amelia Mendez, Graciela Valerio, and Olga Delgado. His sons Anselmo Delgado, Jose B. Delgado, Jose G. Delgado, and Juan Carlos Delgado. Also survived by 17 grand children and 17 great grand children.
Anselmo came to live in Hollister in the early 1950’s. He was known and remembered by many members of the community for his generosity, thoughtfulness, and unfaltering kindness.
Viewing will be held on Wed. March 6, 2019, from 3:00 – 9:00 pm. A talk will be given by Angel Moreno at 7:00 PM. Burial on Thursday at 11:00 am at the IOOF Cemetery.
Religious services will be held Friday, March 8, at 7:00 pm. at Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall at 2410 Fallon Rd., Hollister, CA. 95023
