Local candidates file first campaign finance forms

Local candidates were required to file their first campaign finance reports (Form 460s) by Thursday for the June 5 primary election. The filings cover Jan. 1 to April 21. Two more similar filings are due before the upcoming election.
Mike Parsons, information systems deputy with the San Benito County Elections Office, noted that a campaign committee has 10 days from the time it receives $2,000 to file public campaign finance forms.
The following are the campaign committee reports filed by the end of Thursday with the San Benito County Elections Office for political races along with Measure C, the proposal for a local cannabis tax:
