On November 9, Ladd Lane brought back to campus a small population of students with special needs. The Special Education students had the opportunity to opt for in person learning and the first day was a huge success.
“I am very proud of the work of our teachers, assistants, nurses, and administrators,” Superintendent Diego Ochoa said. “They helped us take an important step toward reopening campuses for our students!”
This small group program is very exciting for the families and staff of Ladd Lane.
“This is a step in the right direction,” Principal Jeannine Ostoja said. “Our hearts are filled with joy to see students back on campus. It has been a long seven months without them.”
The Hollister School District has worked extremely hard to ensure the safety of their students and staff. Many thanks to Special Education Director Gwen Baquiran and her team of amazing Coordinators and staff! The district plans to open similar programs at Cerra Vista and Rancho San Justo in early December.
