You might see a lot of flying objects in the sky next weekend.
The REACH San Benito Parks Foundation is hosting a San Juan Kite Festival on Saturday. The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the San Juan School soccer field just off The Alameda and Highway 156.
According to the REACH San Benito Parks Foundation, it is “a family-friendly event to support the kids going to Science Camp from San Juan.”
Donations are encouraged but not necessary. Visitors can bring a kite out or just come watch for the day, according to the REACH group.
