The City of Hollister is asking for community help for farmworkers at a relief drive Saturday.
The city-hosted Farmworker Relief Drive is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Hollister Fire Station No. 1, 375 Fifth St., in downtown Hollister.
Organizers are asking for items like:
• Non-perishable food such as canned goods
• Personal protective equipment such as masks, gloves and new hoodies
• Home essentials such as cleaning/disinfecting products (dish soap, hand soap, laundry detergent) and toilet paper
• Body essentials such as baby wipes and diapers
A city flier with details on the relief drive encourages residents to support these local essential employees. Call (831) 636-4300 with any questions.
