Each week, the Hollister School District honors and recognizes two worthy children as the male and female, “Students of the Week”. The district receives nominations by school sites and recognizes students who show excellent leadership, behavior, and academics.
All honorees receive a “Student of the Week” certificate with an inscription detailing the reason they were chosen. Ladd Lane is very excited about the Orton Gillingham Reading program that has been initiated this year. The program is renowned for helping all students conquer their reading goals. The school has also provided professional Development on Whole Brain Teaching for all primary grade teachers. In addition, the school is embracing the Footsteps to Brilliance TK-3rd Grade program.
