Hollister police April 21 arrested a man who’s suspected in the December 2014 shooting death of a 28-year-old Hollister man.
Police arrested Christopher Larios, age 32, on suspicion of homicide for the death. Larios walked into the police station April 21 to give a statement on the homicide and was subsequently arrested, said Sgt. Don Pershall with the Hollister Police Department.
“He just came in and said he wanted to make a statement,” Pershall said.
The shooting happened in the 2000 block of Scenic Drive on Dec. 23, 2014. Emergency personnel responded to an emergency call and found the victim, who was declared deceased on the scene.
Police alleged homicide and assault with a deadly weapon. Larios was booked at the San Benito County Jail with bail set at $1.05 million, according to police.
