Hollister district names Employees of the Week

The Hollister School District released the following Employees of the Week:

Classified: Branden Johnson, Lead Technology Specialist

Branden is being recognized this week as he is a pivotal District Office team member during distance learning.  He has guided the IT department during chromebook distributions, hot-spot distributions, district-wide communications, and technology troubleshooting during distance learning.  Hundreds of our students are able to engage in daily instruction because of the IT department’s efforts!  Thank you Branden for all you do!

Certificated: Anita Sarringhaus and Miranda Eyster, School Nurses

Anita and Miranda have worked on COVID-19 prevention measures, as well as, daily  tracking of employee potential exposures.  They have worked in a highly efficient and confidential manner while addressing employee concerns and conducting the required follow up.  They also bring a unique and heartfelt level of compassion to all they do and to all those who they engage with.  Our school nurses have also selflessly assisted families in need during this uncertain time.  They have assisted families looking for housing, assisted with community referrals and gathering donations.  Thank you for going above and beyond each and every day to help others!  

Administrator: Aaron Buzzetta, Director of Facilities, Maintenance and Operations

Director of Facilities, Maintenance and Operations Aaron Buzzetta has been busy with our newest school, Rancho Santana and directing daily operations in the department.  His team works on our facilities and grounds daily.  Under Aaron’s leadership, the department has worked on several critical projects such as the renovation of fields and landscaping, applying fresh paint to areas of need, delivering and installing new furniture at sites and departments and applying COVID-19 safety signage district-wide.  Aaron’s daily site visits are greatly appreciated as he and his staff provide much needed support.  Their collective efforts help maintain our facilities operable.  Thank you Aaron for all you do!
