This dynamic team of educators are all Intervention Teachers at R.O. Hardin Elementary School. They are being recognized this week because of their outstanding work ethic, their passion for supporting children, and their exemplary teamwork. As a group, these four teachers coordinate daily reading interventions for every student using the Orton-Gillingham approach. This team works hand in hand with all R.O. Hardin teachers and administration to make sure that our Huskies reach grade level!
Classified Staff:
Isaias Rivera is being recognized as the district’s Classified Employee of the Week. Isaias is the district’s warehouse driver. He is being recognized for his professional approach to his daily work. Isaias gets to know the staff at each school and makes an effort to provide the highest quality of service to each site. He is currently working with district office staff to organize temporary warehouse storage containers as the district procures the necessary Personal Protective Equipment to facilitate reopening district campuses.
Administrator
Kip Ward is the Director of Student Services for the Hollister School District. Mr. Ward is being recognized as administrative employee of the week because of his exemplary leadership. Mr. Ward brings a “can do” attitude to his daily work with principals and teachers. He is currently leading the district’s efforts to redesign district discipline policies. His leadership will help the district work towards dismantling the School to Prison Pipeline. He is also coordinating the enrollment of all students into Rancho Santana School. The district’s newest school is slated to open in August 2021.
