Caltrans announced that Highway 25 work expected to last Wednesday and Thursday is now finished ahead of schedule, so commuters won’t have to deal with anymore of those detour headaches.
According to the announcement from Caltrans released Wednesday afternoon:
Union Pacific Railroad has completed its railroad repairs ahead of schedule resulting in the re-opening this afternoon of a two-mile section of both northbound and southbound Highway 25 near the San Benito/Santa Clara County line.
These repairs began this morning and were scheduled to be completed tomorrow afternoon. Caltrans wishes to thank the public for their patience during this project.
Caltrans reminds motorists to move over slow down when driving through highway work zones.
