Grillin & Chillin releases Resilience IPA to help fire victims

Grillin & Chillin Alehouse in Hollister is releasing its special beer today to help raise funds for victims of the Camp Fire.
The local business at 401 McCray St. was among craft brewers nationwide that made a special beer called Resilience Butte County Proud IPA to benefit victims of the massive and destructive Butte County fire.
The local business joined this effort spearheaded by Chico-based Sierra Nevada, which shared the recipe with other brewers to raise the funds.
Grillin & Chillin is releasing the beer today with 100 percent of sales proceeds going back to the Sierra Nevada Brewery Relief Fund to benefit Camp Fire victims.
In an announcement on Facebook, Grillin & Chillin owner Chuck Frowein said the brewery was joining over 1,000 brewers nationwide to raise funds. Each pint is $10, with 100 percent of proceeds going to the fire victims.
Frowein previously told San Benito Live the brewing community as a whole is “very supportive and very collaborative.” He projected Grillin & Chillin alone could raise $5,000 to $8,000 from the effort.
