Gavilan College Superintendent Dr. Kathleen Rose will interact with the public and students at a series of upcoming, local events.
Rose will first host a “President’s Forum” on campus at 12:50 p.m. Sept. 13, Oct. 11 and Nov. 8 at the outdoor classroom by the duck pond.
According to an announcement from the community college: “Join Gavilan College Superintendent / President on campus to talk about the issues that impact Gavilan College students. Come and address the issues that are most important to you! Don’t forget to bring your lunch.”
Then, Rose will be hosting several informal “Coffee and Conversations” gatherings in the local communities served by Gavilan. She will visit Mars Hill Coffee House at 9 a.m. Sept. 8 and Vertigo Coffee Roasters at 9 a.m. Oct. 13.
She will also do the same at First Street Coffee in Gilroy at 9 a.m. Aug. 25, Grinds Vines Automobile Cafe in Morgan Hill at 9 a.m. Sept. 15, Startucks at 125 Bernal Road in San Jose at 9 a.m. Oct. 6 and the Wings of History Air Museum in San Martin at 9 a.m. Oct. 20.
