Mabie Northside Skilled Nursing Facility experienced flooding due to this afternoon’s sudden and severe rain downpour. Two hallways have been affected, and we are moving residents for their safety.
Working in conjunction with Hollister Fire Department, AMR ambulance service, San Benito County Express and the Hospital’s Emergency Management Team, the Skilled Nursing Facility staff is transferring all residents to Mabie Southside Skilled Nursing Facility and Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital. We anticipate all residents to be safely relocated by 8:00 p.m. this evening.
Our staff is hard at work drying out the facility and specialized crews will be brought in to ensure the facility is safe for their return when the facility is re-opened.
