Election 2018: Richman holds lead over Mora for District 4 council

Marty Richman held a lead over Salvador Mora in the Hollister City Council race to succeed Jim Gillio in District 4.
Richman had 61.14% of the vote to 38.86% for Mora after initial results came out shortly after 8 p.m.
Richman and Gillio are running for the seat to represent the southeast side of Hollister.
Richman is retired from careers in engineering and the military. He is an avid speaker at public government meetings and spent eight years as a columnist for the Hollister Free Lance writing about local politics.

Salvador Mora

Mora is a mortgage broker who spent 16 years as a juvenile corrections officer in Santa Clara County. He also has coached football and wrestling at the high school and junior college levels.
