Hollister had two small earthquakes Sunday in the late morning.
The first one was a magnitude 3.4 earthquake that occurred about seven miles north/northwest of Hollister at 11:09 a.m. A minute later, a 3.0 earthquake shook in just about the same spot. The first one was at a depth of 1.9 miles, with the second at 1.7 miles deep.
The epicenter was in an area near the intersection of Shore and Lake roads, and near Frazier Lake Road.
