Earthquake hits near Pinnacles National Park

An earthquake shook the Pinnacles National Park area Wednesday morning.

It measured at 3.4-magnitude, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. It happened about 10 miles northwest of Pinnacles National Park.

The quake was felt to the north in San Juan Bautista and to the south in Soledad, according to USGS.

It was reported at 6:09 a.m. That came after Tuesday’s larger quake near Tres Pinos that measured at 4.7-magnitude.
