The pair of residents charged in the homicide of Yoon JI, whose body was found in San Benito County off Salinas Grade Road, will next appear in court for a preliminary setting Feb. 15.
Sang L. Ji, the victim’s husband, and Jung Choi are represented by public defender Gregory LaForge. The victim’s body was found Dec. 20 in a ravine in rural San Benito County. The two suspects were arrested on suspicion of the murder Dec. 6 after an investigation by the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office prompted by a family member who’d reported her as missing.
Sang Ji is from Hollister, and Choi is from South Korea.
The suspects remain in custody on $2 million in bail each.
