In an effort to inform the community about trauma, Community Solutions – a partner of CASA of San Benito County – has scheduled a three-part workshop on Exploring Trauma.
The first session, June 11, is a screening discussion of the film RESILIENCY, a documentary that looks how toxic stress can impact a child’s brain and body.
The second session, Understanding Intergenerational Trauma, is scheduled for June 18.
The third session is on June 25 with a community discussion regarding Trauma-Sensitive Vision for Our Community.
All sessions are from 6-8 p.m. at Paine’s Restaurant and a free dinner will be served. These workshops are open to all San Benito County residents. Kids over the age of 12 are welcome to attend if parents deem it appropriate.
