The El Camino Club and other organizations are hosting another Day Out on the Ranch event for area special needs residents.
The event at Thorson’s Arena in San Martin is being organized by California Highway Patrol Officer Chris Miceli, who’s a member of the El Camino Club made up of CHP personnel, along with other organizations such as the California Cattlemen’s Association and 4-H. It is meant for special needs adults and children in the area.
The El Camino Club is a California Highway Patrol organization in Hollister and Gilroy areas.
Day Out On the Ranch is set for noon to 3 p.m. May 12 at Thorson’s Arena, 2005 Hayes Lane in San Martin. It will include rodeo skills stations, live bluegrass music, a hot dog with chips and a drink, horseback rides and a petting zoo.
