Cerra Vista Elementary School will be hosting its annual STEAM Fair tonight from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. The entire community is invited to share in an evening of Grade Level Science experiments and experiences and an Art Show and Sale
Over 15 booths from both Grade Level instructors and Community members will be available. Science experiences include a Planetarium where students can create their own constellation, engineering circuits in our STEAM Lab, creating and launching canister rockets and taking a virtual field trip to outer space. Community booths include an archeology dig with Hollister Hills, robotics demonstrations from the Monterey County Sheriff’s SWAT and Bomb Squad, planting with GardenMart and many more.
In addition to the many STEAM related science experiences, Cerra Vista also hosts an Art Show and Sale. Student work will be both on display and also available for purchase. A professional photographer will also be on site to take photos of students and families.
Free dinner is included during the evening, hosted by the Hollister School District Nutrition Department.

Cerra Vista Elementary School is committed to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) eduction. With two dedicated STEAM Labs, integrated learning experiences and the inclusion of technology in the classroom, Cerra Vista students are most definitely 21st Century Learners!
