Democratic candidate for State Senate District 12 Anna Caballero has raised nearly $500,000 more than her opponent Rob Poythress so far this year in the campaign.
Caballero, the assemblywoman who represents San Benito County, had raised $1,748,952 through Sept. 22 to $1,248,932 for Poythress, the Republican from Madera.
