The San Benito County Business Council and other agencies are teaming up to host a regional manufacturing roundtable.
According to the San Benito County Business Council, the roundtable will involve the local organization, the California Manufacturing Technology Consulting (CMTC), California Employment Training Panel (ETP), Gilroy EDC, and Central Coast-based (San Benito county, southern Santa Cruz & Santa Clara counties, northeastern Monterey County, Los Banos) manufacturers.
Attendees will include small and medium-sized manufacturers, and business support providers on the Central Coast. It is set for noon to 1:30 p.m. June 7 at San Juan Oaks Golf Club, 3825 Union Road. RSVPs are due by 5 p.m. June 4 to San Benito County Business Council Executive Director Kristina Chavez Wyatt at (831) 524-0408 or [email protected].
The group hopes to help “manufacturers help themselves via free technical assistance, state economic incentives and access to capital. We want to hear what services you need to help you grow and be profitable,” according to the announcement.
The statement goes on further:
California Manufacturing Technology Consulting (CMTC) is leading an initiative to establish “California’s Manufacturing Network.” The aim is to develop and deploy technology, management and technical expertise for SMMs focused on improving their productivity and global competitiveness. As a non-profit organization, CMTC’s mission is to serve as a trusted advisor to manufacturers providing solutions which will grow both their businesses and the California economy.
