On March 1, Hollister Police Department canine Dallas received a donated bulletproof Vest from Bill Westbrook of the Los Banos K-9 Association.
Bill Westbrook is a retired Police Officer from the city of Los Banos. He has set up the non-profit Los Banos Canine Association whose main goal is to raise money to donate custom made bulletproof vests to working police dogs.
So far this year, thanks to many generous donations, he has been able to donate four vests to police departments in the central valley. The next vest he will be donating to The City of Hollister for their K9 “Dallas”.
The presentation of this vest was on March 1 at noon in front of the Hollister Police Department. All are invited to attend this presentation.
