Hollister Animal Care and Services participated in the Movies Under the Stars event and it resulted in pets finding their forever homes.
According to Hollister police:
On Friday July 7, 2017 the Hollister Recreation Department held the Movies Under the Stars event. It was well attended by many local residents who came out to the event at the San Benito High School athletic field.
Families of all ages gathered to watch an animal themed movie and learn all about what the Hollister Animal Shelter has to offer the community.
Shelter staff brought 11 adoptable animals (3 dogs and 8 kittens) in the grant funded mobile adoption trailer. The Hollister Animal Shelter is delighted to say that in just the two business days following the event, 10 animals were adopted by people who attended the event. The animals found their forever homes with loving families!
We would like to extend a big thank you to Hollister Recreation for including our animal shelter in such a wonderful event and helping those pets find homes.
